Packed with Nutrients, This Garden Spinach Dip Recipe Is Sure to Delight

This garden spinach dip recipe is ideal for appetizers and snacks.

  • 1 ¼ cups of sour cream
  • 1/3 cup of mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup of chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • ¾ teaspoon of seasoned salt
  • ¼ teaspoon of dried whole dillweed
  • A 10-ounce package of frozen chopped spinach that has been thawed and well-drained
  • 1 large purple cabbage


  1. Combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, green onions, lemon juice, seasoned salt, and dried whole dillweed together in a bowl.
  2. Stir in the spinach, and make sure all the mixture ingredients are incorporated well.
  3. Cover the mixture and have it thoroughly chill.
  4. Trim the core end of the cabbage to form a flat base.
  5. Cut a crosswise slice from the top of the cabbage, removing about ¼ of the head.
  6. Lift out enough leaves of cabbage to form a shell that’s about an inch thick. Reserve the crosswise slice and inner cabbage leaves for other uses according to preference.
  7. Spoon the dip into the cavity of the cabbage, then serve with crackers or fresh vegetables.
